It only takes less than 3 minutes to get 3-Minute Animal installed in your Slack workspace. Here’s how.
First things first, you’ll want to take a gander at our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Security Statement to make sure 3-Minute Animal is right for your organization. Also, make sure you have permission to install Slack apps, otherwise refer these steps to someone who does.
Now…
1. Click Add to Slack
… from up there, top right.
2. Choose your Slack workspace
Pick the workspace into which you want to install Slack.

Note: You’ll see a App is not approved by Slack warning for now.
3-Minute Animal is currently in the Slack Marketplace review process.
3. Review and accept requested permissions
On the same page as the workspace selection, take a good look through the requested permissions and
click Allow if you agree to grant them to 3-Minute Animal.

If you have any questions, take a look at our Privacy Policy, or reach out!
4. Select or create a Slack channel
Sweet! The 3-Minute Animal Slack app is now installed to your Slack workspace, but now we need to setup a game channel. The wizard will guide you.
Choose an existing public channel, or have the wizard create a public channel for you. If you run into any issues creating a channel, say, due to tightened workspace permissions, one can be created manually right from Slack. Come back to the wizard and select the newly-created channel.
5. Start a game!
Hooah! Now the @3-Minute Animal bot should be a member of the chosen channel, and will say hello.
Take a look at the app Home tab to find out more about how the app works. Then, invite a bunch of people to the
game channel and jump into a game by running the /3ma game setup command!
Alternatively, click the Setup game shortcut from the Run shortcut menu,
just below the message input box.
Enjoy!
